THE RAW MATERIALS

Only the finest cannabis plants are sourced for Bison Extracts products. We partner with growers who care about the quality of what they produce over quantity.

THE OIL

Our vape cart is a pure CO2 extracted cannabis oil that has been refined leaving behind a clean and semi-transparent amber-colored product. Bison Extracts does not use any kind of cutting agents in our cartridges. Our oil is for people seeking an experience close to distillate while still providing natural terpenes. With refined oil, you will find slightly higher levels of cannabinoids which could mean a more intense experience.

Product Highlights:

    • Full Spectrum
    • Native Terpenes
    • Strain Specific and High CBD Blend Options
    • No Additives or Cutting Agents

The Cartridge:

THE AVD 1 GRAM AVD CARTRIDGE

For Bison Extracts, it has been a challenge to find a cartridge to pair with our un-cut refined oil. The majority of plant-based vaping technology is borrowed from the e-cig industry and simply will not perform to the caliber needed. AVD recognizes that plant-based concentrates require unique configurations for maximum user experience. As former growers and extractors, they understand this better than the typical vapor hardware company today. The ability to combine industry knowledge, proven technology and state-of-the-art manufacturing, allows AVD to deliver the very best solutions.

AVD Cart Highlights:

  • Lead Free and BPA Free
  • Low Failure Rate = .001%
  • AVD Porous Ceramic Coil Prevents Residue and Evaporation
  • Encased Heating Element For Terpene/Cannabinoid Preservation
  • Balance Ration of Oil to Air For Perfect Vapor Flow

The Method of Delivery:

INHALATION

Inhalation of cannabis has several advantages, including fast onset, ease in consuming the correct dosage, and convenience. The medical marijuana is taken into the lungs and quickly absorbed through the capillaries into the bloodstream. It’s an ideal delivery for patients with nausea, vomiting, or other conditions that make swallowing difficult. Due to the rapid onset of inhaled cannabis, it’s easiest for users to judge their response and know how much the cannabis is helping and whether or not they need more. On the other hand, inhaled cannabis is more likely to cause cardiovascular side effects, has a shorter duration than other methods and may have a higher abuse potential. Typical inhalers experience an effect that tapers off after approximately 2–4 hours and lasts about 4–12 hours.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SMOKING AND VAPORIZATION:

With smoking, up to 40% of the available cannabinoids may be completely combusted or lost in side-stream smoke and thus are biologically unavailable.

A cartridge battery steadily heats the cannabis oil to a temperature that is high enough to extract THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids but too low to release the potentially harmful toxins that occur during combustion. Vaporization is claimed to reduce some of the health risks associated with smoking. There may be differing vaporization points for the individual cannabinoids and vaporized cannabis oil may have different concentrations and ratios of cannabinoids compared with smoked cannabis.

Other Benefits of Vaporization:

ULTIMATE DISCRETION

With little smoke and odor, the use of vaping devices is preferred by many Cannabis users who want to take their medicine anytime and anywhere. Discretion is important for most Cannabis users, largely due to the stigma that still surrounds the Cannabis plant.

YOU CAN TASTE THE FLAVOR OF THE STRAINS

Many people are turned off by Cannabis, often due to the bad experience of smoking a joint. Inhaling smoke for nonsmokers isn’t fun. Given that vaping does not involve burning the herbs, the flavor that you get is not comparable to the negative experience of smoking them.

Terpenes are the particles mostly responsible for flavors in your buds. They are also therapeutic alongside the cannabinoids. While burning the plants for smoking, most if not all the terpenes are destroyed. With vaporizing, you get a full taste of the bud as most of the terpenes are present when they enter your mouth and lungs.>

YOU USE LESS CANNABIS TO GET THE SAME EFFECT

The initial investment in a cartridge battery is higher compared to what you would spend on smoking paper. However, in the long run, you can actually turn your investment into substantial savings. This is because when vaporizing, only a minimal amount of cannabis oil is needed to be vaporized to get a satisfying dose and all the medicinal benefits. When vaporizing the cannabis oil, the lower temperature treats these molecules a lot more gently, so you are actually getting more from less.

PORTABILITY AND CONVENIENCE

With most cartridge batteries, they come in compact, small sizes. These make them handy and fit perfectly in pockets.

Full Spectrum Tablets

INGREDIENTS:

Full Spectrum Cannabis Oil, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silica Dioxide, Di-Calcium Phosphate, FD&C Aluminum Lake’s

Full Spectrum Tablets:

THE PRODUCT

Bison Tablets are hard pressed with CO2 extracted, full spectrum (whole plant), strain specific cannabis oil. Our tablets are 20 MG pre scored for easy 10 MG dosing. They are sold in packs of 20. Full Spectrum or “Whole Plant” tablets contain many other compounds from cannabis, not just THC. They are the closest thing to a real cannabis plant, only in the form of a tablet. This product has ZERO calories and ZERO sugar which makes it a great alternative to edibles for those with special diet requirements.

The Method Of Delivery:

EDIBLE

One of the benefits of ingesting cannabis is the ability to feel the effects of cannabis without having to smoke flower or vaporize concentrates. Additionally, ingestion of cannabis remains in your system longer than inhalation.
The disadvantage of ingesting cannabis is that it is absorbed through the digestive system, which means the effects may take hours to set in and the potency of effects gradually increases. Although is is possible to feel the effects as early as 20 minutes, more typical onset is a range of 45 minutes to 3 hours and the duration can last between 4 and 6 hours. The duration will depend on both the dose and how your body metabolizes cannabis.

Indica Dominant Nighttime Tablets

Indica Dominan t Nighttime Tablets

FAQ’S:

HOW DO THE TABLETS WORK?

The tablets will cause the same psychoactive effect as vaping or smoking cannabis; however it will have the same delayed onset as ingesting edibles. This is because THC in tablets are processed by your liver rather than being delivered directly to the bloodstream via the alveoli of your lungs (like with vaping or smoking). That one difference is very significant though. Having THC metabolized by the liver means that it is converted to 11-Hydroxy THC. This variant of the cannabinoid is very different from the standard Delta-9 THC you get from smoking marijuana.

Why 11-Hydroxy-THC Is More Potent From THC Capules or Edibles than Flower?

The reason 11-hydroxy-THC is so powerful is that it crosses the blood-brain barrier more effectively than delta-9. Ultimately your body will create 11-hydroxy-THC from inhaled delta-9, but over 10 times as much of the THC metabolite can be created when cannabis is ingested. This is because when you ingest cannabis it’s metabolized, first by stomach enzymes and then by the liver, creating two opportunities for the creation of 11-hydroxy-THC.

Alternately, when you inhale cannabis, it goes directly to your lungs, where it enters your bloodstream directly, circumventing the liver completely at first. The THC still present in the blood that eventually makes it to the liver will be metabolized into the hydroxy metabolite, but relatively little will be produced.

Tincture of Cannabis

(Based on 0 reviews)
0 out of 5

20

INGREDIENTS:

Coconut MCT Oil 100% Coconut derived and CO2 Extracted Full Spectrum Cannabis Oil

THE PRODUCT

Our tincture is made with CO2 extracted full spectrum cannabis oil infused into MCT coconut oil, which in itself is known for its anti-inflammatory and pain relief benefits. The tincture is 30 ML/500 MG of cannabinoids.

HOW DO I STORE MY TINCTURE?

Heat and light deteriorate cannabinoids. For this reason, we recommend storing our tincture bottle inside its box at no less than room temperature for best results.

FAQ’S:

WILL A TINCTURE MAKE ME FEEL ELEVATED?

Yes. What kind of “elevation” you experience and what kind of resulting relief you feel will depend on the strain, the dosage and the way your body absorbs cannabinoids. Always research the strain used in the packaged product before purchasing so that you know if it will work for your specific symptoms.

HOW IS THE TINCTURE MADE?

First, we extract the full spectrum cannabis oil using both Subcritical and Supercritical CO2 extraction methods and then we infuse the activated oil with MCT Coconut Oil and other food grade essential oils and/or flavorings.
MCT Coconut Oil is comprised of saturated fatty acids. However, unlike most saturated fatty acids, MCTs are metabolized quickly and stored minimally as fat in the body. Cannabinoids are fat soluble, and studies involving rats indicate that consuming cannabis with fats can increase the body’s absorption of cannabinoids. It is thought that healthy fats, like MCTs, may enhance the plant’s therapeutic effects.

MCT Cannabis Tincture Pros:

  • Easily absorbed by the liver, so effects are felt more quickly
  • Evenly absorbs cannabis compounds, so dosing can be more accurate
  • Neutral taste
  • The Benefits of Tinctures:

DOSAGE CONTROL/RAPID ONSET

When taken sublingually, the infusion is immediately absorbed into the arterial system, making its way to the brain and body. Because of the rapid onset, it is easy for patients to start low and then customize based on personal preference.

DISCREET

Tinctures are inconspicuous in comparison to smoking a pipe or burning a joint because tinctures do not produce an odor. Tinctures also don’t have a noticeable odor when stored, so you can easily carry it with you on the go.

LOW CALORIE

Tinctures offer a low-calorie alternative to most edibles if you prefer to ingest your cannabis in this method and want to watch your weight.

EFFICIENT CANNABINOID AND TERPENE ABSORPTION

When you take your tinctures sublingually as opposed to ingesting this gets the medicine directly into your bloodstream. As a result, the effects can usually be felt within as little as fifteen minutes and last two to three hours. A well-made tincture offers a much more efficient cannabinoids/terpene absorption rate than any other consumption method.
the method of delivery:

SUBLINGUAL (PRIMARY), EDIBLE (ALTERNATE)

Cannabis tinctures, which were extremely popular before cannabis prohibition, are one of the best, most underrated delivery methods for cannabis. They provide a fast and efficient dosage of medicine with minimal effort.
Before prohibition, cannabis infused extracts (tinctures) were listed in the U.S. Pharmacopeia as a treatment for several conditions including: tetanus, gout, tonsillitis, alcoholism, menstrual cramps, cholera, arthritis, and many others. Patented cannabis tinctures were even sold over the counter in the early twentieth century.

Tinctures are primarily taken by putting a few drops under your tongue (sublingually) and holding for 15-30 seconds until absorbed. When taken this way, the arterial blood supply under your tongue rapidly absorbs the cannabinoids. Alternatively, you can swallow the tincture in a drink or food, but it will be absorbed slower by your liver. When dosing a tincture sublingually (under the tongue), expect to feel the effects in 15-45 minutes and reach your peak high at about 90 minutes. When taken orally or added to a drink, onset begins within 45-90 minutes.

Testimony:

AUSTYN’S STORY (TOLD BY HIS MOTHER AMBER)

This is Austyn. Austyn is 4 years old, he has several medical issues that include rapid absence seizures (he seizes every 5-10 minutes), level 3 autism, Eosinophilic gastroenteritis, severe developmental delays, and also a sleep disorder. He functions at a 6 month level and is nonverbal.

Two years ago, he just existed. We couldn’t touch him, he didn’t make sounds, didn’t play with toys. He would sit and stare. That was it. In one of his evaluations his neuropsych described him as “catatonic”. The only way I can describe it is being alive, but not really getting to live.

His neurologist wanted to put him on all kinds of medications but when I would read the side effects, it felt like we would be trading one problem for another and I couldn’t justify fixing one problem now for him to end up in liver failure before he was even 10. So, we got him his Omma card and started immediately giving him tinctures. We started with Bison extracts.

He now is such a happy child! He still has all the same medical issues, but he is happy. He plays and runs, is very affectionate with close family members, he laughs, climbs, jumps! He even makes noises now and we truly believe he is now pre-verbal. Medical Marijuana changed our lives.

We are so excited to dig in deeper and find specific strains and cannabinoids etc to help him even more.

I am so grateful for Jessi and her abundance of knowledge in helping us find very specifically how to enhance our sons life. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters. We just want a happy, pain free little guy. He deserves that.

Thank you Bison for caring about your clientele and going the extra mile. There is so much knowledge to be shared but it’s hard to find and until you, it was hard to find medical strains that did not contain overwhelming amounts of THC that would be too much for our Austyn.

I can’t say enough how thankful we are for you.

TOPICAL

Topicals are cannabis-infused lotions, balms, and oils that are absorbed through the skin for localized relief of pain, soreness, and inflammation. Topicals are often chosen by patients who want the therapeutic benefits of marijuana without the cerebral euphoria associated with other delivery methods. They’re non-intoxicating, meaning Cannabinoids are absorbed through the skin but do not enter the bloodstream and are non-psychoactive.

FAQ’S:

HOW DO MARIJUANA-INFUSED TOPICALS WORK?

Cannabis-infused lotions, salves, oils, sprays, and other transdermal methods of relief work by binding to a network of receptors called CB2. These CB2 receptors are found throughout the body and are activated either by the body’s naturally-occurring endocannabinoids or by cannabis compounds known as “phytocannabinoids” (e.g., THC, CBD).

Even if a topical contains active THC, it still won’t induce that intense “high” you’d get from smoking or ingesting cannabis. With most topicals, cannabinoids can’t breach the bloodstream; they only penetrate to the system of CB2 receptors.

SAFETY WARNING:

As with all body products, please test on skin before applying. If irritation occurs, please consult physician.

INGREDIENTS:

Cannabis Oil, Coconut MCT oil, Essential oil blend

THE PRODUCT

Liberation promotes natural lubrication, reduces pain and tension and creates the necessary relaxation to fully enjoy the sexual experience. Because it can take between 15-45 minutes to get the full effect of Liberation, we suggest applying it, then taking part in lengthy foreplay while enjoying the feeling as it sets in.

HERD CONTROL WARNING: This product is not compatible with latex

FAQ’S:

HOW DOES LIBERATION WORK?

THC applied topically directly onto the clitoris, inner and outer labia, and/or inside the vagina will result in absorption and said to cause widening of the blood vessels, which can increase lubrication and enhance sensation during stimulation.

IS THIS SAFE FOR VAGINAL USE?

The Coconut MCT Oil is anti-fungal and anti-microbial, so it will not put you at risk for yeast infections. It will soak into dry skin, but it leaves no sticky residue and in general will keep you lubricated enough. If not it is easy to apply more.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TAKE EFFECT?

Because it can take between 15-45 minutes to get the full effect of Liberation, we suggest applying it, then taking part in lengthy foreplay while enjoying the feeling as it sets in.

WHAT SYMPTOMS DO MARIJUANA-INFUSED LUBRICANTS TREAT?

Cannabis lube may offer pleasure-enhancing and orgasm stimulating effects, but it has purpose and power beyond simply feeling good during intimate moments. For some women, it may help decrease pain associated with sex, especially for those struggling with menstrual-related issues including Endometriosis.

This painful inflammatory disease affects one in 10 women worldwide and has prompted many who suffer from it to seek alternative therapies, such as cannabis for managing chronic pain. Ongoing research shows that the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is directly involved in uterine function. This suggests a promising direction for the development of new treatments targeting the ECS for alleviating pain in women suffering from Endometriosis.

Site Specific Transdermal Patch

(Based on 0 reviews)
0 out of 5

20

INGREDIENTS:

Almond Oil, Full Spectrum Cannabis Oil

The Method of Delivery:

TRANSDERMAL

Site specific transdermal patches provide a unique method of cannabinoid delivery. When you apply a patch to your skin, you set up a drug concentration gradient. That just means that at one point (in the patch), there’s a lot of the cannabinoid, while at another point (in your skin), there’s not a lot of the cannabinoid.
When your skin’s heat activates the patch, the cannabinoid begins to spread out into your skin. This concept is very much like pouring boiling water into a coffee mug and leaving it sitting on your counter.

The hot water contains a lot of heat (212℉ worth), while the atmosphere around it doesn’t. Because of this difference (the gradient), the heat naturally “spreads out” into the air around it.

Site Specific Transdermal Patch:

THE PRODUCT

What Is A Site Specific Transdermal Patch?
Our reservoir patches are loaded with full spectrum cannabis oil infused into almond oil. The almond oil acts as a carrier to help the cannabinoids penetrate the skin quicker and deeper. Because of the way they work, patches can offer all-day or all-night site specific relief.

FAQ’S:

HOW DO I USE THE PATCH?

  • Wash hands before and after applying or removing patch
  • Patch should be applied on or near affected or painful area that is hairless, cleaned with alcohol, and dry
  • Peel and remove backing from patch, immediately press on to skin and hold for 10 seconds
  • Massage the reservoir occasionally to bring new material closer to skin contact
  • Do not wear more than one patch at a time
  • Do not cut patch in half or smaller pieces
  • Do not use if you have an allergy to adhesives or skin sensitivities as you are more likely have skin irritation
  • Do not wear patch more than 24 hours as it may irritate your skin and lose strength after 24 hours

BENEFITS OF USING A SITE SPECIFIC TRANDERMAL PATCH:

No other cannabinoid delivery system offers the same benefits as transdermal delivery. The exact dose of active ingredients in a bio-available formula is neatly contained in each easy-to-use patch than can be discreetly worn safely for up to 24 hours. No throat and lung irritation like vapes, no need to reapply like with lotions or oils, and no risk of over medicating like with edibles. Continuous use of transdermal patches also helps fortify the reserves within your body for more of a perpetual therapeutic value.

Suppositories

(Based on 0 reviews)

20

INGREDIENTS:

Full Spectrum Cannabis Oil, Triglycerides of Saturated Fatty Acids (C10-C18)

THE PRODUCT

Our Suppositories are manufactured with a high CBD CO2 extracted full spectrum cannabis oil, can be administered either rectally or intravaginally, and are shelf stable at room temperature.

FAQ’S:

WHAT SYMPTOMS DO RECTAL SUPPOSITORIES TREAT?

Suppositories administered rectally are an excellent consumption method when oral application is not an option or if the patient has a blockage that stops oral/edible medication from moving through the digestive system. Rectal administration allows for a relatively constant environment for a drug to be delivered, therefore delivering administered dose evenly for a prolonged duration. Rectal administration has been known to be helpful in managing nausea and vomiting with immediate relief.

WHAT SYMPTOMS DO INTRAVAGINAL SUPPOSITORIES TREAT?

When suppositories are administered intravaginally, cannabinoids are extremely potent due to the dense amount of cannabinoid receptors found in the pelvis, ovaries, and uterus; therefore suppositories are an ideal consumption method in treating the symptoms of PCOS, Endometriosis, Uterine Cysts, Premenstrual uterine cramping, etc.

WARNING

The use of cannabis oil infused Suppositories reach the bloodstream, but patients generally report diminished psychoactive effects in comparison with ingesting cannabis oil infused products.
